My mission is to provide the convenience of a professional stylist to those people who are unable to come to the salon.
Joyce is a licensed Cosmetologist in both the states of Virginia and Florida. She has been in the Beauty Industry since 1982. She has practiced in all areas of the Industry participating in everything from working as a commissioned Stylist to Group management. She has also owned a Salon at one time. In 1985, shortly after passing her Virginia State Board exams, Joyce took training from Glimby International in razor cutting and excelled in razor cuts. She moved to Florida in 2001. She then became certified in Brazilian Blowout, Keratin Complex and Chi Envero Smoothing Techniques and then went on to learn the Donna Bella tape in Hair Extension method. She is also a Certified Make Up Artist with New Skills Academy. Joyce is still learning to date with numerous online companies to further her education in the Cosmetology field. Joyce is a perfectionist when it comes to her work with her clients, spending time listening to them and making sure that they are happy with their hair when they come to her. She enjoys all aspects of the industry but color is her main love. She is in her element when she does a dimensional color that adds depth and movement to the style that she has created. Joyce is there to please her clients and spends as much time as is necessary to make sure that each client feels valued.
In 2018, Joyce developed her company, Angel Wings Hair Design. She will come to each client, whether they are home bound or in a local institutional facility, to do their hair. She also does this for weddings. This is limited to a 30 mile radius and there is a small additional charge for the service but for some people it is everything they ever dreamed of having. Someone to come do their hair at a time when they thought they would never enjoy that experience again. Joyce is indeed an Angel spreading her Wings.
