I have been fortunate to have been involved for 36 years in the beauty industry. I have worked and trained with some of most talented stylist around, from Miami to Orlando and now in Melbourne. I love that every day is new and exciting, new styles, new colors, new smiles
My training began in Miami working on multi –cultural hair. I continued my education in Orlando and then relocated to Satellite Beach where I opened my first salon in 1982. I have learned allot along the way, continuing my education in Hair color and Cutting have been essential to me, for to be able to give the client just what they want. I was trained in Pivot Point Cutting; this is a very precise technique. I work well with scissors chippers and razor cutting.
Favorite: Hair Color, I am fascinated how the placement of color can completely change a look.
I opened Hair Secrets & Spa in 2001 and moved it the present location in 2006, we expanded in 2009 to accommodate 12 of the most talented professionals in the area. We are a full service salon to include nails, massage and facials. I was asked recently about retiring? Hair styling is in my heart, I love my clients they are like family. No, I can’t see retiring any time soon. I would like to give back, volunteering or possibly teaching cosmetology. The talent that was taught to me is a gift. I want to pass on.
